Second most anticipated event of the (Winchester) year

In Winchester, the annual Apple Blossom festival reigns supreme.  All other holidays pale in comparison, wishing that they might one day be so grand.  Never shall it be.

But just as John the Baptist proclaimed the coming of Jesus, the Kiwanis Pancake Day hails the arrival of Apple Blossom season.  Hungry pancake lovers arrive in the thousands to gorge themselves on pancakes and locally concocted sausages.  It is a dark day for both pigs and Aunt Jemimah.

Seriously, Arvin?

wait wait wait wait wait wait. So I get that pigs should be afraid because sausages are made out of them. But are you suggesting that syrup is made out of Aunt Jemimah?
